Lecture at SME5.0 Summer School

From 17–19 November 2025, the SME5.0 Summer School on “AI and Sustainability Engineering” took place at the CMU Faculty of Engineering.

I had the pleasure of delivering a lecture on Industrial Symbiosis as a key enabler of the Circular Economy, focusing on how waste streams can be transformed into valuable resources. The lecture introduced core concepts of the Circular Economy, analyzed Industrial Symbiosis as a strategic approach, and explored the potential of Artificial Intelligence to enhance matching probabilities and decision-making within symbiotic networks.
