TRAKE 3rd Research Seminar

By Tanel Aruväli on May 3rd, 2024

Students introduced their projects, which were funded through the Transdisciplinary Research and Knowledge Exchange Complex (TRAKE) program.

10 interesting projects in various fields were introduced, including topics from mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, and pharmaceutical engineering.

All the projects were pragmatic and born from real-life problems.

Some examples of the project topics that were addressed were the following: how to manage aircraft emergency landings landing site selection and the landing trajectory, how to reduce fatigue stress in automotive gears using laser shock peening, how brain-computer interface can benefit wheelchair driving, etc.

The event took place in the foyer of the Engineering Research Innovation Labs building.
